Russia’s central bank is weighing a plan that would allow banks and brokerage firms to operate cryptocurrency exchanges through a simplified licensing pathway tied to their existing financial permits, according to remarks from Governor Elvira Nabiullina. On Saturday, August 17, 2024, a family reported the theft of jewellery and other valuable items from their room at the Hilton Hotel, Eastway, South Terminal, Gatwick Airport. The family were staying at the hotel in two adjoining rooms but had left one of the doors on the latch while their luggage was being brought into the room. Health tech giant TriZetto has confirmed that more than 3.4 million people’s personal and health information was stolen in a 2024 cyberattack, which the company failed to detect for almost a year.
