West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has welcomed nine wholetime firefighters following a 16-week programme covering breathing apparatus, responding to road traffic collisions and delivering community safety initiatives. Their training culminated in a pass out parade at Platinum House in Horsham on January 15, where recruits demonstrated their skills in a simulated road traffic collision and a rescue from the drill tower.
