Skybus, which had operated a daily service between Newquay, in Cornwall, and Gatwick, has announced that the final flights on the route will take off today (April 2). The airline stepped in to run the flights on a short-term basis on November 23 last year after the previous operator, Eastern Airways, announced it was on the brink of entering administration.
