A short section of Ferry Road in Renfrew, near Braehead, has been closed at its junction with Campbell Street and King’s Inch Road following a burst on a 700mm rising sewer main earlier today (January 5).  A clean-up operation has been carried out and the area made safe by Scottish Water’s main contractors George Leslie, while plant and materials are mobilised ahead of excavation works beginning on Saturday, January 6. NASA will kick off 2024 by sending five payloads to the Moon aboard Astrobotic’s Peregrine lander, Astrobotic Peregrine Mission One. The inaugural launch under the agency’s CLPS (Commercial Lunar Payload Services) initiative will blast off Monday, Jan. 8, from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on a United Launch Alliance Vulcan rocket. Housebuilder Bellway Wessex is building the houses at Langmead Place, off Water Lane in Angmering. The new image shows a view of one of the street scenes with three houses and some green space. The first homes at the scheme have now gone on sale and a Bellway sales office is set to open on the site in early March.
