Yesterday (January 6) at around 1:36pm officers from Kent Police were called to the A282 Dartford Crossing, following reports that a person had fallen onto the carriageway. National Highways confirmed that the A282 southbound between J1A and J1B before the QE2 Bridge was closed whilst emergency services were on the scene. Traffic was diverted and the QE2 Bridge closed during the incident. The Met Office forecast shows the city could see light snow at 7am, 9am, 12pm and 3pm. In Petworth, snow is expected at lunch time and between 4pm and 7pm.
