There was a “limited” Sino–Russian cooperation intensity in 1992–1995, which grew from then until 2007 and then rose. The bilateral relationship grew progressively, with no exponential growth or peaks, according to the study. There were no dramatic changes following Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea.
