The high street fashion retailer has announced it will be closing its Orchard Shopping Centre branch in Dartford today (January 3). The decision to close the store was made following the building needing significant modernisation and repairs, as the size and demand of the store have made this “unviable” according to a spokesperson for Primark. The spokesperson told News Shopper that the decision had been made to close in light of the store’s size and lack of footfall.
