A search took place in the water after police were called to Galley Hill Road in Swanscombe after reports of concern for a swimmer at 2.55pm yesterday (May 27). The pond connects Ebbsfleet to Swanscombe. Pictures from the scene by UKNIP show boats being deployed to find the body. Hesketh Park will get a new outdoor fitness area during 2026, a Dartford Council report has revealed. It is one of a series of improvements to parks and open spaces set to be discussed by the council’s overview and scrutiny committee at a meeting next Tuesday (June 2).
