A search took place in the water after police were called to Galley Hill Road in Swanscombe after reports of concern for a swimmer at 2.55pm yesterday (May 27). The pond connects Ebbsfleet to Swanscombe. Pictures from the scene by UKNIP show boats being deployed to find the body. Hesketh Park will get a new outdoor fitness area during 2026, a Dartford Council report has revealed.
