Go-to destinations such as Bluewater in Dartford and Broadway Shopping Centre in Bexleyheath have introduced big brand names in recent weeks, from popular bookstores to menswear staples.

Five new store openings at south east London and north Kent shopping centres
Waterstones, Broadway Shopping Centre
Waterstones opened a nearly 4,000 sq ft bookshop at Broadway Shopping Centre on October 24.
Area manager for the firm Alistair Willmott said Waterstones was “thrilled” to be opening a new bookshop in Bexleyheath, calling it a “fantastic” location.
Jack & Jones, Bluewater
Jack & Jones opened a new 6,370 sq ft store at Bluewater on October 8, located on Lower Thames Walk.
The shop offers menswear alongside the Danish fashion brand’s largest kids’ collection across its UK stores.
Yankee Candle, Outlet Shopping at The O2, Greenwich
Yankee Candle opened a new store at Outlet Shopping at The O2 in Greenwich earlier this month.
The shop sells the brand’s range of home fragrances, candles and seasonal products, and offered an initial 20 per cent discount after launching.
HUSH, Bluewater
Womenswear and lifestyle brand HUSH opened its new Bluewater store on October 9, next to Next.
The shop offers the brand’s clothing and lifestyle range, including premium pieces and autumn staples.
Bravissimo, The Glades, Bromley
Lingerie retailer Bravissimo announced plans to open a new store at The Glades in Bromley at the start of October.
The new shop, on the second floor next to the Guest Services Lounge, will create 12 jobs, although an exact opening date had not been confirmed.
