Adur and Worthing Police have issued a picture of a man they are looking to speak to following the alleged incident.
A force spokesman said: “Do you recognise this man?
“We have received a report of him harassing a woman and people may have seen him acting suspiciously in Worthing and Brighton town centres.
“If you have seen him please contact police on 101, quoting incident number 47260140691.”
