Gillingham have secured their No 1 goalkeeper with the signing of a player who arrives with valuable League Two experience.
Ollie Wright, 22, has joined on a season-long loan from Championship side Southampton.

Wright spent last season on loan at Gills’ League 2 rivals Accrington Stanley.
He came through Southampton’s academy and featured for them in the EFL Trophy and had loan spells in the National League at Yeovil Town and Solihull Moors.
During his full season at Accrington, Wright kept 12 clean sheets and collected a couple of end-of-season awards before signing a new three-year contract with Southampton.
“I’m over the moon,” he said, after penning a new deal.
“I’ve been here a long time now. I can’t really put it into words. It’s a really proud moment for me.
“I got my opportunity [at Accrington] and I took it. I thought I did really well there, I have definitely matured a lot and it’s helped me so much.”

Wright was named Accrington manager’s player-of-the-season last term and was also the players’ player of the year.
He’ll now get a chance to gain even more experience with the Gills.
Having signed for the season, he said: “I am fortunate to have played a lot of games last season to gain my experience and hopefully I can bring that to Gillingham.
“I’d like to say I am quite commanding, coming for crosses and taking the pressure off the back line.
“I can’t wait to get working with Deren [Ibrahim, the goalkeeper coach]. I am ready to go.”
