The incident occurred at the Boship Roundabout in Lower Dicker, Hailsham, on Thursday, July 2, at around 9.25am.
Sussex Police confirmed that a 53-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sussex Police said: “His next of kin are aware and our thoughts remain with his family during this time.”
They added: “A road closure is currently in place on the A267 (New North Street) at the Boship Roundabout while emergency services remain on scene.”
No arrests have been made.
