The once ‘inadequate’ Bexley school praised as ‘strong’ in latest Ofsted report
Whitney Andrews, headteacher at Clare House, said: “Our 130th anniversary Summer Fair was a truly special occasion, and it was wonderful to see so many members of our school community come together to celebrate. The support we received from families, local organisations, volunteers, and former pupils made the day incredibly memorable. We were also delighted to welcome the Mayor and Liam Conlon MP as part of our celebrations.”
The fair included memorabilia displays that traced the school’s history since its founding in 1896. Year 6 pupils also took part by using architectural software to imagine what Clare House might look like another 130 years into the future.
Funds raised from the event will support the school’s Parent Teacher Association.
The anniversary fair not only celebrated the school’s achievements but also reinforced the community spirit that has defined Clare House for generations.
