Community organisations, trade unions, and residents will join together at Maryhill Burgh Halls on Wednesday, July 8.
The public meeting will begin at around 6.30pm on the day and provides a space for people to “share strategies and support those most affected”.
It comes after violent incidents in Belfast, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
The meeting is being convened by Maryhill Against Racism and will feature speakers from Sisters Against Cuts, Women Against the Far Right, Stand Up to Racism, and the Scottish Trades Union Congress.
Roz Foyer, of STUC, said: “The recent events are a terrible reminder of what we already knew. The activities of the far right are a threat to all people of colour and to the cohesion of our communities.
“Maryhill is my community. Wherever racism lifts its ugly head, the trade union movement will be there to counter it.”
Bryony Small, Maryhill Against Racism, said: “Maryhill Against Racism is a grassroots group of community activists appalled by scenes of the far right attacking people of colour in our streets.
“We have called a public meeting to unite and inform decent people in our community about the fight against racism and fascism.”

On top of hearing from experienced organisers, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion.
It is noted that the meeting is open to the whole community.
Maryhill is described as being one of Glasgow’s most diverse communities. Organisers say that recent events have left some people feeling ‘increasingly vulnerable’ and that it is ‘vital for the community to come together now’.
Lynne Christie, CEO of Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust, said: “Maryhill Burgh Halls was built to be the civic heart of Maryhill, and it feels fitting to honour this heritage by bringing our community together at a moment like this.
“We exist to be a safe space, welcoming to all – a place where people feel valued and safe to be themselves, regardless of identity or background.
“We stand in solidarity with all those who say that racism has no place here.”
