One person remains in police custody
Police have issued a statement as an investigation into a suspicious death in West Belfast continues.
Police remain at the scene of a suspicious death in the Helen’s Wood Court area of Dunmurry on Sunday, June 28. It comes after officers were called to a property in the area on Saturday, June 27.
One person has been arrested as part of the investigation and remains in police custody at this time.
Police have said that a postmortem is due to take place and there is no further information at this time.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police remain at an address in the Helen’s Wood Court area of Dunmurry in west Belfast today, Sunday, June 28, following a suspicious death yesterday, Saturday, 27 th June.
“A person, who was arrested on Saturday, remains in custody, assisting police with their enquiries. “A postmortem will take place in due course and enquiries are ongoing. There is no further information at this stage; however, an update will be issued, once available. “We would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police using our witness appeal form at https://reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals quoting 818 of 27/06/26, or to call us on 101.”
