The three vehicle crash halted drivers on the M25 about 5pm today, June 25, causing miles of congestion for rush hour commuters.
Emergency services attended the scene to assist after the incident was reported.
The collision caused gridlock to grow along the A2 Watling Street London-bound and the M25 at Junction 2.

AA Traffic then reported a blockage on the A2 westbound from the B255 at the Bean Interchange to the M25’s Darenth Interchange due to a separate crash.

As a result, the severity of delays has increased, with congestion now stretching back to Ebbsfleet.
The current delays, stretching for three miles, are proving to be particularly troublesome for motorists.
They are facing delays of approximately thirty minutes.
