The incident happened on Pollokshaws Road at the junction with Queen Square on Friday, December 12, 2025, and involved a Triumph Bonneville motorbike and a 74-year-old woman.
The woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and later died on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
A 52-year-old man was arrested and charged on Tuesday, June 16, 202 and will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 52-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences after a woman died following a crash on Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow.
The incident happened around 7.45pm on Friday, 12 December, 2025, and involved a Triumph Bonneville motorbike and a female pedestrian on the A77 Pollokshaws Road at the junction with Queen Square.
Emergency services attended and the 74-year-old pedestrian was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she later died on Sunday, 21 December, 2025.
The man was arrested and charged on Tuesday, 16 June, 2026 and will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
