The three lucky winners, who have all chosen to remain anonymous, each won big at Mecca Bingo locations in Glasgow and Paisley in the space of just five days.
On June 3, players at Mecca Glasgow Quay and Mecca Glasgow Forge both struck gold during the evening session, taking home more than £48,000 and £50,000 respectively.
The Glasgow Quay winner landed the sum on Mecca’s Big Bonus Game, while the other player won the National Bingo Game’s £50,000 jackpot.
The third win came just days later at Mecca Paisley during the afternoon session on June 8, where a regular player took home another National Bingo Game jackpot.
Caleb Haskins, the caller who delivered the news at Mecca Paisley, said: “I heard the winner shout to make her claim, and she was so happy, thinking that she’d won the club prize of £101.
“When I told her that she’d actually won £50,101 she was so shocked and became quite emotional.
“She regularly comes down to meet her friends, and the other customers had realised the size of the win before she had.
“Everyone was congratulating her and so happy for her.
“I’ve been working here for 18 months, and I’ve already earned the nickname ‘the Jackpot King’ because the jackpots always seem to drop when I’m on the mic.
“It’s nice to be known as someone who gives away money and this is the biggest prize I’ve announced.
“I just love the excitement of a big win and giving our customers good news.”
The winner is believed to be planning a holiday to celebrate her good fortune.
Lynsey Pitts, regional manager at Mecca Bingo, said: “We’re always thrilled for our winners but to see three big jackpots in just five days is a real cause for celebration.”
The National Bingo Game is played twice daily across Britain and offers top prizes of £50,000 and £250,000, in addition to club prizes in every game.
