Emergency services were called to Western Road, in Newhaven, at 5.55pm yesterday, June 11, following the collision.
Crews from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service assisted Sussex Police to make the scene safe.
Sussex Police confirmed no one was injured in the collision.
Kerry Fish, 43, a British national, of Fort Road, Newhaven, was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol.
She has been bailed to appear before Hastings Magistrates’ Court on September 9.
A spokesperson for the fire service added: “East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were mobilised to a road traffic collision involving one car in Western Road, Newhaven, at 17.55 yesterday (June 11).
“Firefighters used scene safety equipment. The incident was handed over to the police and building control.”
