Motorists experienced lengthy queues at the Dartford Tunnel after a collision involving a lorry and a car.
The west tunnel had been closed due to the crash, with traffic diverted through the east tunnel.
According to National Highways, traffic officers attended the scene, and there were 15-minute delays.
At its peak, queues backed up to Junction 2 for Darneth.
The west tunnel has since reopened.
It’s currently unknown if anyone has been injured.
Emergency services have been contacted for comment.
