Traffic was held on the M25 following a crash involving several vehicles.
The accident occurred on the London-bound carriageway between Junction 3 (the Swanley Interchange) and Junction 2, Darenth, and the A2.
National Highways says it’s due to a multiple vehicle collision, with reports of an “accident involving an overturned vehicle”, and all emergency services are at the scene.
All lanes have since reopened, and at its peak, queues were backed up to Junction 4 for Orpington, with 50-minute delays in the area.
