Yorkshire Building Society will re-open its Gordon Street branch in Glasgow on Monday, June 15, after a temporary closure following the devastating fire on Union Street in March.
Evelyn Kenny, branch manager at Yorkshire Building Society, said: “We’re really pleased to be re-opening our Gordon Street branch and welcoming customers back to a place many know and trust.
“This has been our home for 25 years.
“While the fire didn’t cause any damage to our branch, we’ve taken the time to carry out a full clean and make sure everything looks its best.
“We’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces again and continuing to support our customers with their savings and mortgage needs.”
The Gordon Street branch has been closed since March 8, but customers were supported through a temporary pop-up site on St Vincent Street, which will close on Friday, June 12.
Part of the Glasgow community for 80 years and serving customers from Gordon Street since 2000, the building society supports more than 15,000 customers and handles around 900 transactions each month.
Regular opening hours will resume from June 15.
