The event, which takes place this Saturday, June 6, will feature a programme including a live samba band, live music, DJs and gospel choir performances.
The party kicks off at 2pm with a carnival procession, setting off from the Coast and arriving at AudioActive at around 3:30pm.
The carnival procession will cater to family fun with an energetic atmosphere and community spirit as guests enjoy the lively music.
A range of food and drinks will also be prepared by some of Portland Road’s independent businesses.
The event is made to be enjoyed by all with the support of local businesses and organisations.
In order to bring lively entertainment to Worthing, Worthing Town Centre BID is a funding partner, helping to bring this vibrant community celebration to life and support events that drive footfall, showcase local businesses and strengthen the town centre economy.
Ahead of the event a spokesman for Portland Road Party said: “Whether you’re joining the procession or simply looking for a great afternoon out with family and friends, Portland Road Party promises an unforgettable celebration of community, creativity and culture.”
