Tollcross Farm, within Tollcross Park, has welcomed four Highland heifers to its fields, in a move that’s set to prove popular with local families this summer.

The shaggy “coos”, long a favourite at Pollok Park on the southside, have been brought to the farm by Glasgow City Council’s livestock team.
Sharing the news on social media, the council said: “Guess moo’s back?
“Our Livestock Team have brought four Highland heifers to Tollcross Farm for the first time in 10 years. The southside favourites are now in the east end—you’ll be udderly delighted to see them back.
“Come along and say hello.”
Footage posted online shows the curious cows exploring their new field and wandering over to greet the person filming at the fence.
Tollcross Farm is located within Tollcross Park on Wellshot Road in the east end of the city.
