McDonald’s in Market Square has applied to change its opening hours as part of a new premises licence bid.

The fast food restaurant already opens at 5am each day and closes at 11pm Sunday to Thursday, and at 3am on Fridays and Saturdays.

However, McDonald’s has proposed an extension of the opening hours until 5am at the weekend, and until midnight from Sunday through to Thursday.

This effectively means the branch would open at 5am each Friday and would not close again until midnight on Sunday.

As part of the application, a new condition is also proposed for the licence to ensure a door supervisor is employed at the premises between 11pm and 5am on Friday and Saturday nights.

The proposal is open for feedback until June 11, and representations should be made in writing to Licensing, London Borough of Bromley, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or via email to licensing@bromley.gov.uk.
