Gillingham’s pre-season campaign is coming together – with a visit from old foes Charlton Athletic on the schedule.
The Gills will welcome The Addicks to Priestfield for a warm-up game on Saturday, July 18.
Championship side Charlton are the highest-ranked side the Gills will face, of the games that have so far been announced.
Gillingham’s friendly against Charlton is the only home match that’s been confirmed, so far.
As usual, the Gills will be taking in some of Kent’s non-league sides, with games at Dover – a regular visit – taking place on Tuesday, July 14 and Ebbsfleet United on Friday, July 31 (7pm) confirmed.
The Gills will also be playing Medway friends Chatham Town on Friday, July 24 (7.45pm).
Youthful Gillingham teams will be attending Sheppey United (July 14) and Lewes (July 21) for midweek friendlies.
More games will be announced, with the Gills starting their 2026/27 season with a first-round Carabao Cup game on the weekend of August 8. The League Two season starts the following week.
