Karlie Everson, 39, of no fixed address, was sentenced to 12 months in prison at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on May 8, following the prolific shoplifting offences, which took place in Worthing.
During a roughly four-month spree between November last year and May, Everson stole over £2,200 worth of goods.
The stolen items included coffee, steak and other meat products, butter, cheese, washing up liquids and other laundry items.
Everson would often take hundreds of pounds worth of goods at a time, including £412 worth of beauty gift sets on one occasion.
