This year’s event promised a mix of vintage charm and entertainment, with everything from classic cars and steam engines to film-famous vehicles and military displays.

There were free vintage bus rides looping around the town, giving passengers a taste of travel from a bygone era yesterday.

Alongside the rides, the ever-popular Faversham Charter Market was in full swing, with a selection of artisan stalls, exhibitions and displays, ranging from model railways to maritime history.

Also on show were iconic vehicles inspired by the big screen, as well as a unique “dissected” open-top bus by South East Coachworks, detailed railway exhibits and a large-scale model of the Titanic.

The main vehicle showcase took place today.

Spread across the town centre was an impressive line-up of vintage cars, motorcycles, tractors, campervans and American trucks, alongside a display of steam engines.

A dedicated military vehicle exhibition paid tribute to engineering history, featuring contributions from cadet groups and veterans’ organisations.

At 11am, a minute’s silence took place to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Spitfire and to honour fallen RAF pilots.

The weekend featured live music, dance performances, remote-control displays and family activities.

Food stalls and a “pit stop” area provided refreshments, while trophy presentations, including Best in Show and Most Unusual, were awarded at 3pm.
