A spinner has signed for Kent on an all-format loan until the end of their Vitality T20 Blast campaign.
Left-armer Jake Lintott, 33, joins from Warwickshire until July 19. He will be a part of Kent Spitfires’ Blast squad for the 2026 tournament, as well as being available for selection in Rothesay County Championship Division 2.

The wrist-spinner has taken 90 Blast wickets at 22.77 and an economy of 7.96.
Five years ago, he took 15 wickets in the Blast, earned a wildcard pick for The Hundred, and played a key role in Southern Brave’s title-winning campaign as their top wicket-taker.
But Taunton-born Lintott, who counts Hampshire and Gloucestershire among his former domestic clubs, has not turned out for Warwickshire’s first-team squad since he featured in the One-Day Cup last year, albeit missed a 79-victory over Spitfires in mid-August.
Former schoolteacher Lintott has also played franchise cricket for Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League, and Fortune Barishal and Mohammedan Sporting Club in Bangladesh.
Director of cricket Simon Cook said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jake into the group for the next block of first-team fixtures.

“He provides us with an extra dimension to our bowling attack in all formats and will complement the spin options we have to give us more tactical flexibility.”
The news comes on Tuesday, a day after Adam Hollioake’s side completed back-to-back red-ball victories with a two-wicket County Championship win against basement boys Gloucestershire in Bristol.
On-loan bowler James Taylor hit the winning runs of a dramatic chase after Tawanda Muyeye’s 108 had led the way as Kent reached 261-8.
Earlier, 25-year-old Taylor – making his Kent debut at the start of a two-game loan – took 10 wickets across the match, including first-innings figures of 6-52, as Kent moved up to fifth in the table.
Muyeye (90), wicketkeeper Chris Benjamin (74) and teenager Ben Dawkins (65) had offered half-centuries in Kent’s first-innings total of 327 all out.

Next up for Kent is a red-ball game against Durham in Beckenham from Friday – when England skipper Ben Stokes is expected to be involved.
All-rounder Stokes, returning from injury as he batted for the first time since the Ashes, helped Durham to a nine-wicket away win over Worcestershire this week.
The 34-year-old took four wickets across the fixture but was only able to contribute a first-innings score of 14 before he was dismissed by fast-medium bowler Jack Home.
While Kent’s focus will promptly switch to Blast action after the Durham game, Lintott is also expected to be available for red-ball matches against Lancashire and Middlesex next month.
