Crossbasket Castle in High Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, has announced the new riverside cabins as part of its latest expansion.
The retreat will also welcome the Four Angels Spa later this year as part of a £20 million redevelopment that introduced 40 additional bedrooms and new dining options.

Nestled along the River Calder, each of the 12 timber cabins can sleep up to four guests and promises to blend “Scottish seclusion with world-class luxury.”
We reported last month that the five-star spot shared its first look inside the new additions.
Inside, guests will find a double bed and sofa bed, with interiors reflecting the textures and tones of the Hebrides.

Each unit includes an enclosed balcony bathroom with a freestanding copper roll-top bath overlooking the surrounding woodland.
Crossbasket Castle bosses said : “Spend your morning watching the River Calder from the comfort of your suite, or retreat to the freestanding copper bath for a soak while the autumn forest surrounds you.
“Beyond your cabin, wander over to the new Four Angels Spa for a ritual-led wellness journey or enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Foveran’s, our light-drenched restaurant and bar.”
Named after the waterfall beneath the castle, the Four Angels Spa will feature treatments using Isle of Harris products and an extensive thermal suite.

Guests can enjoy immersive showers, a sauna, steam room, and heated loungers during their stay.
The broader castle estate now includes Trocadero’s, an art deco speakeasy and bistro restaurant with a menu curated by Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux Jr.
Cabin reservations are now open for stays from October 1, starting at £295 per night.
