easyJet has flown 82 million customers since operations began in NI

A new route is set to take off from Belfast this winter.
easyJet, Northern Ireland’s largest airline, has announced the launch of a new service from Belfast City Airport to London Southend Airport.
Flights will take off for the first time on 25 October 2026 and will operate three times a week on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The new route joins easyJet’s existing domestic network from Belfast City Airport, which includes services to Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London Gatwick, London Luton, and Manchester, strengthening its UK network and offering customers more choice when travelling between Northern Ireland, Essex, and the wider South East, whether for business or leisure.

easyJet serves three airports in Northern Ireland, Belfast International, Belfast City, and City of Derry Airport, offering over 55 routes to 45 destinations in 17 countries across Europe and North Africa, and has flown nearly 82 million customers since operations began.
