The Sir Arnold Clark Summer Fund, created in memory of the late businessman, has reopened for applications to support children and young people across Glasgow and the west of Scotland during the school holidays.
First launched in 2018, the fund aims to provide life-enhancing opportunities for young people during the summer break.
Delivered in partnership with Cash for Kids West Scotland, the fund offers grants to community groups and charities working with disadvantaged youth.
Russell Borrie, chief executive officer at Arnold Clark, said: “We’re delighted to once again team up with Cash for Kids West Scotland to help make a difference this summer.
“Sir Arnold was a passionate advocate for numerous charitable causes, and we’re honoured to continue the Sir Arnold Clark Summer Fund.
“This funding can make a real difference in creating opportunities and memorable experiences for young people who need it most, and we’re excited to support more incredible projects this year.”
This year, two grants will be awarded: one of £5000 and a second of £2500.
Applications for the grants are open until 6pm on Friday, May 22.
Last year, YMCA Bellshill and Mossend, and Childcare in the Community based at Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre, were among the successful recipients.
Both groups used the funding to deliver engaging and supportive activities for young people in their communities.
