The Ravens hosted Walsall on Saturday, in front of a packed crowd, securing a 3-1 victory to seal their place in League One next season. This win concluded a historic season for Andy Woodman’s squad.
The match began slowly, with both sides struggling to create significant chances in the opening 30 minutes. Bromley’s Ben Thompson, however, won a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area, setting the stage for Ashley Charles to attempt a set-piece.
Although Charles’ effort cleared the wall, it sailed over the crossbar. Thompson later broke the deadlock in the 37th minute with a stunning strike into the top left corner, scoring his eighth league goal of the campaign.
