An estimated 4,000 people are expected to take part in Worthing’s Runfest which this year is celebrating ten years.
The half marathon kicked off on the seafront near Worthing Pier at 9.30am and two more races are to take place. The 10k will start at 11.10am and the family mile will set off at 11.45am.
Ahead of the event, organisers touted 2026 to be the largest in its history and said it is expected to be Worthing’s biggest one-day fundraiser.
An after party is being held at Beach House Grounds.
