Bromley secondary schools' ratings as exam season begins - UK Daily: Tech, Science, Business & Lifestyle News Updates

The data shows the Attainment 8 scores, which measure the average achievement of students across eight key GCSE subjects, including English, maths, three EBacc subjects (such as science, history, geography or languages), and three other approved GCSEs.

English and maths are double‑weighted, meaning they count twice as much as other subjects because they are core subjects.

Below, we’ve listed Bromley’s state‑funded secondary schools and their Attainment 8 scores, along with the percentage of students who achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths.

Special and independent schools are not included.

A school’s Attainment 8 score or percentage does not always reflect its overall quality, as factors such as selectivity, student numbers and intake ability can all have an impact.

Selective grammar St Olave’s and St Saviour’s Grammar School ranked the highest in Bromley, with an Attainment 8 score of 83.6 and 100 per cent of students achieving grade 5+ in English and maths.
