Fire crews used their jaws of life equipment to cut a person free after a car reportedly left the carriageway on the A2.
Police and paramedics were also at the scene of the crash on the A2, London-bound in Harbledown, near Canterbury, this morning.
The route was shut from about 6.30am but reopened about an hour later.
One person was treated by ambulance crews.
A fire service spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a crash involving one car on the A2, London-bound near Harbledown.
“Three fire engines attended, and crews used cutting equipment to release one person from the vehicle.
“One person was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.”
