Gillingham’s veteran goalkeeper Glenn Morris is leaving the club at the end of this season.
His departure has been announced by the Gills ahead of their final game of the season this Saturday.

The Gills have already said there will be big changes this summer, and Morris’ exit is likely to be one of many.
In a social media post from the Gills, the club said: “After 135 appearances across two spells, and two player-of-the-year awards, we can confirm that Glenn Morris will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
“A wonderful pro who has served our club with complete professionalism and dedication.
“We wish him well for the future.”
At 42 years old, Morris is the oldest player ever to have featured for the first team.
He’s been first choice stopper for most of this season, missing a chunk of the season through injury before reclaiming his no.1 role from Jake Turner, who is also expected to be heading for the exit.
That will leave two spots to fill, although the Gills do have young goalkeeper Taite Holtam contracted beyond this summer.

Morris recently indicated his desire to stay with the Gills, as despite his age he feels he’s got more to give.
“I feel good – I feel sharp,” he said.
“My body and everything feels good. I feel like I’m in a good place.
“I feel just the same as I did when I joined Gillingham four years ago. I don’t feel any different to that.
“People want to write me off all the time and they’ve got every right to. They can do what they want, but I feel just as good as I did when I joined here.”
Gillingham boss Gareth Ainsworth has spoken to all of his players ahead of this weekend’s game, informing them if they are wanted for next season.
Some of those heading for the exit door could still feature against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday. A full list of those leaving is expected to be announced soon after the season ends.
