David Haye reportedly preparing legal action against ITV - UK Daily: Tech, Science, Business & Lifestyle News Updates

The former world heavyweight boxing champion, 45, took part in the second series of the all-stars edition of the reality show.

He is said to believe that his appearance on the programme has caused “irreparable damage” to his brand, while also impacting his future earnings.

A source told The Sun: “David is absolutely gung-ho about all of this – he is incandescent with rage about how the whole series has been handled and feels he’s being made a scapegoat by ITV.

“He believes he was deliberately edited to be the pantomime villain and made to look misogynistic, aggressive, and a bully.

“He insists he is none of these and has suffered trolling.”

The source went on to claim that Haye’s legal team will scour the series for further examples of damaging content and are preparing to seek damages, with lost earnings estimated at up to £10 million.

They allege that David previously had talks with Netflix about a show, and these have halted, while other brand deals appear to have been paused.

Newsquest has contacted ITV for comment.

David Haye accused of bullying Adam Thomas

During his time on the show, Haye was accused of bullying actor Adam Thomas, who went on to win the series.

Thomas later shared his thoughts on social media, writing on Instagram: “I walked through this journey with my heart first, no matter what came my way.

“It was not always easy, there were moments that could have broken me, but I stayed true to myself and that is something I will always be proud of.
