The “No Scotland No Party” chant left American singer Alex Warren confused during his Hydro performance on Sunday night.
For the Californian native mistook the Tartan Army anthem for “Go be a slut for Barbie” as he performed a booty shake on stage while fans chanted.
But his actions were quickly forgiven after he entertained his thousands of Scottish fans with bucketloads of confetti and infectious guitar-fuelled anthems.

The 25-year-old had his fans hooked from the get-go for the only Scottish date on his Finding Family On The Road tour.
Touching home videos of the star as a child showcasing his interest in music from a young age kicked off the show before he launched into Troubled Waters.
He then addressed the energetic crowd: “Ladies and gentleman, thanks for coming to my show.
“I hope we have some fun tonight.”
And his fans were up for that as they lapped up Passenger using the opportunity to create a synchronised light show with their mobile phones.
Eternity and Catch My Breath quickly followed and had the arena singing along in unison.
While new track Same Stars allowed Warren to show the prowess and vulnerability in his voice. He explained he wrote the track about grief after losing his dad to cancer when he was nine.
Warren made this show extra special by being fully present for his fans. He interacted with them throughout because he wanted to and did everything in his power to include them in the show. It is a rarity to see and made him even more likeable.
He even admitted he was one of us revealing, “I did one of those tests to see where I come from. I’m one of you lot.”

He then joked, “Someone asked for a Glasgow kiss. I didn’t know what they meant by that. That terrifies me but also makes me feel patriotic.”
For someone so young, the tone in his voice carries a maturity which was evident in his performances of Carry You Home which was a highlight, and Save You A Seat.
Fever Dream and Ordinary rounded off the show in spectacular style leaving the audience delighted that Warren – who quickly changed into a kilt – is “one of us”.
