A motorcyclist died in a crash on the M2 after hitting the central reservation, police have confirmed.
Officers say the rider was travelling on the coastbound carriageway between Junctions 2 (Strood) and 3 (Maidstone/Chatham) when the incident happened just before 9.30pm yesterday.
The 63-year-old, from the Maidstone area, was riding a red Harley Davidson and died at the scene just after Medway Viaduct.
Police closed the carriageway between Junctions 1 and 3 overnight while investigation work was carried out.
The route was closed for 12 hours but reopened at 10am today.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
