Ibrahim Alshafe, 25, Abdulla Ahmadi, 26, and Karin Al-Danasurt, 20, were today found guilty at Lewes Crown Court in Hove of raping a woman on Brighton beach in October last year.
The woman, whose anonymity is protected by law, became separated from her friends and was taken behind a beach hut, where she was raped. The attack was filmed by Al-Danasurt.
Egyptian national Alshafe and Iranian national Ahmadi were both found guilty of two counts of rape by jurors today.
Egyptian national Al-Danasurt was also found guilty of all four counts of rape as a secondary party by encouraging and filming the ordeal.
On the steps of the court, Detective Chief Superintendent Richard McDonagh described the victim as “immensely brave”.

He said: “This young woman has shown incredible strength to report to the police, support our investigation and give evidence in court, in extremely difficult circumstances.
“I cannot commend her enough. Thanks to her, three predatory offenders have been brought to justice and will now face sentencing for their crimes.
“While I hope this outcome can bring some measure of closure, she must now live with the long-lasting trauma of this ordeal.
“My thanks also extend to the investigative team for their diligent work, and our partners for their support to the investigation and the victim.
“Women and girls should be able to feel safe in public and in private, at any time of the night or day.
“Brighton is a safe place, but incidents like this are a reminder of why we and our partners work so hard to protect women and girls, and tirelessly pursue perpetrators should the worst happen.”
They are due to be sentenced on July 15.
