Christopher Shields, of Helensburgh, was sentenced at Glasgow Sheriff Court recently after pleading guilty to two charges.
The 30-year-old admitted to sexually assaulting a woman and sexually assaulting a man.
The court heard that on June 27, 2025, the woman was on a night out with friends at the Cathouse Nightclub on Union Street.
On the same night, the man was also on a night out at the same venue.
At 1am on June 28, the woman was on the middle level of the club getting a drink at the bar when one of her friends stuck a sticker on her chest.
Shields went over to her a few minutes later and peeled the sticker off her chest and put it on the right side of her buttocks.

The woman did not report the incident at that time and tried to brush it off.
The man was then at the bar area on the same level when he was approached by Shields, who swung his arm around him, placing one hand on his shoulder and the other on his waist near his buttocks.
Shields then tried to pull the man away from the bar.

This was reported to security guards, and police were contacted. Officers attended and spoke to Shields, who stated: “I do not personally remember doing that”.
Sheilds lawyer told the court that her client had been drinking “too much alcohol” on that date.
The defence solicitor said: “He was on a night out with a friend. He consumed too much alcohol. He was working that day, and he was tired which impacted on the level of intoxication.
“He doesn’t recall the incident.”
Sheriff Shona Gilroy placed Shields on a community payback order with social work supervision for six months.
He was also made subject to notification requirements for six months.
