We previously reported on March 14 that Robert Anderson, 60, was last seen around 4.40pm on March 2 in the King Street area of Glasgow city centre before boarding the number 75 bus on Stockwell Street and travelling to Castlemilk.

Officers have now confirmed that Robert was last seen in Ardencraig Road in Castlemilk at around 8.10pm on Monday, March 2, having travelled there from Glasgow by bus.

Robert is described as white, around 5ft 10ins in height, of slim build with balding hair and he walks with a limp. When last seen he was wearing grey joggers, a white T-shirt, a black jacket and white trainers.

Enquiries to trace him are ongoing, including reviewing CCTV and carrying out door-to-door checks in the area.

Inspector Derek Gibson said: “As time passes, concerns are growing.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who has seen Robert or someone matching his description to contact us.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in Ardencraig Road around this time and who may have private CCTV or dash cam footage which could assist to get in touch.

“We would also ask Robert, if he sees this appeal, to please get in touch with his family to let them know you are safe.”
