Traffic is building on a vital route during rush hour.
Emergency services have been spotted along Tonbridge Road in Maidstone this afternoon.
At least three ambulances were seen near the Esso garage and Oakwood Park School at around 3.45pm.
Traffic reporting site Inrix said there were delays between Bedford Place and the A20 Broadway up to Tonbridge Road due to “obstruction in the road”.
Police have since confirmed they were called to a medical incident in nearby Rocky Hill, Maidstone.
A spokesman said: “Patrols were called to a medical incident at 3.17pm on Friday.
“Officers assisted paramedics who also attended.”
An ambulance spokesman added: “Paramedics were called to reports of a person in need of medical attention on the London Road in Maidstone.
“Multiple crews attended the scene and assessed and treated one patient before taking them to Maidstone Hospital for further medical treatment.”
