A planning application was submitted to Glasgow City Council (GCC) for the site at 391 Carmunnock Road in Castlemilk.

It proposed refurbishing the existing unit, which was previously occupied by TSB Bank, to create a new One-O-One store.

A notice posted to TSB’s website highlights that the Castlemilk branch officially shut on October 22, 2024.

Planning chiefs at the local authority recently gave the proposals the green light, and work began on January 19.
