Professor Green has teased the opening of his new Glasgow venture with a tongue-in-cheek Valentine’s message ahead of launching PG Fast Food on Great Western Road.
The rapper, who has been spotted driving around the West End in a custom-branded van as part of a promotional push, appears in a new trailer posted to the eatery’s social channels.
The clip opens with the caption: “We asked Professor Green to be in a Valentine’s video for us …”
What follows is a characteristically dry response from the Read All About It hitmaker. Introducing himself with a nod to his new business, he says: “It’s PG from PG Fast Food now I want you to know that I’m not recording this under duress.
I love Valentine’s Day. I’ve been asked to make a Valentine’s Day video and obviously I jumped at the chance cause nothing is quite like a hallmark holiday.”

Despite the restaurant not yet being open, he encourages couples to postpone their celebrations until the launch. “So we’re not open but we will be soon if you want to delay your Valentine’s why don’t you delay it until I don’t know until March and come down to PG Fast Food and have a lovely delayed after the fact …
“I mean Valentine’s Day meal with us at PG Fast Food where the lovers are.”

The mock-romantic tone quickly gives way to a blunt punchline as he concludes: “I fu****g hate Valentine’s.”
We previously reported on Professor Green being about the city as part of a promotional push for his upcoming Glasgow eatery, appearing outside City of Glasgow College and the University of Glasgow in a branded van alongside TikTok creator A1 2Funny.
PG Fast Food is set to open on Great Western Road, with its opening date being early March.
