Steven Edwards, chef director of The Tunnel Club at Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, will now remain in post until 2031 after running the multi-award-winning restaurant for two years.
His renewed contract will also see him take on boardroom catering for chair and owner Tony Bloom and deputy chair and CEO Paul Barber.
Steven, a former winner of TV’s MasterChef: The Professionals and the owner of acclaimed Hove restaurant Etch, said: “Brighton and Hove Albion FC is a fantastic club with an incredible fan base, an inspiring recent history and a bright future ahead.
“The Tunnel Club members are a great bunch who aren’t afraid to share feedback and this has helped us to keep improving and create the best hospitality experience in UK football grounds.
“It’s exciting to be building on this success for the next five years.”
The Tunnel Club was named Padded Seat’s Hospitality Experience of the Year in 2023 and has won the Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards’ Overall Matchday Hospitality Award for two consecutive years.
It was also praised by former England player and Sky TV football pundit Gary Neville, who called it the best food he had ever eaten at a Premier League club ground.

“The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and that’s reflected in the fantastic renewal rates we’ve recently seen, with the next five-year term already sold out.
“Steven’s creativity and dedication have played a huge part in making this possible, and we’re delighted to continue working with him.”
Steven has also contributed to the club’s charity, the Brighton and Hove Albion Foundation.
On February 29 2024, he hosted a fundraising dinner at The Tunnel Club that raised £20,500 for the charity.
He said: “The charity does a great deal for disadvantaged communities across East Sussex.
“I look forward to continuing my ambassador work and raising more money to fund these incredible projects for years to come.”
