Russell and Bromley, a family-owned retailer trading since 1880, will close on Buchanan Street after the company fell into administration earlier this month.
The company has been bought over by Next, however, we previously reported the retail giant said it would only buy three of the group’s 36 stores as part of the rescue deal.

The Buchanan Street store was not included in the deal but was set to continue to trade while administrators said they were assessing options for the remaining shops.
Signs have now been posted in the window of Russell and Bromley confirming it is “closing down”.
Signs also state “all stock reduced” and “up to 20% off original price” throughout the unit.
It is not known what date the shop will officially close its doors.
