The attack happened in the high street
A man was left with face and head injuries after an argument in a town centre in Kent. A CCTV image has been released by police investigating reports of the assault in Maidstone.
Officers were flagged down in High Street at around 3.30am on Friday, January 1, to a man who had been injured. “It was reported two men became involved in an altercation, which resulted in one suffering face and head injuries,” said a Kent Police spokesperson.
An investigation has been launched and police have released an image of a person “who may be able to assist them in their enquiries”, said the spokesperson.
Police are asking for the public’s help. Anyone who may recognise the man, or who may have relevant information about the incident, is urged to call police on 01622 604100 quoting 46/135/26.
