Bryan Alister Fowler passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 22, 2025, aged 88. Much-loved husband, dad, grandad and great-grandad.

Edith Margaret (Maggie) GLIDDON
Edith Margaret ‘Maggie’ Gliddon passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side on December 19, 2025, aged 95. Devoted wife to Ian, loving mum to Nick, Carl and Pat and a cherished grandmother.
Maggie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Following a private committal, the family invited people to join them in celebrating Maggie’s life at Trinity Methodist Church, Leek, on Friday, January 16, 2026. As Maggie had such a bright personality, the family invited all who wished to attend to honour her memory by wearing a splash of colour.

Pamela Mary Kemp (Née Hallett) sadly passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025 aged 86. She will be greatly missed by her much-loved children Sarah, Harry and Lucy and her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pam loved living in Broadstairs and made many lifelong friends in the town. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, January 20 at 12.30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Broadstairs, followed by a private cremation.

David KING
David King of Tunbridge Wells, peacefully signed off on December 22, 2025 after a long life of 97 years and a legacy of kindness, care and a simple, steady way of making people smile. Known for his sense of humour, David spent nearly a century making people feel loved, supported and frequently helpless with laughter.
He is survived by Patricia, his partner, and Ian and Caroline, his son and daughter-in-law and their families, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever miss his cheeky spirit, generous heart and his ability to turn life’s chaos into a comedy sketch.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 30, 2026 at the Kent & Sussex Crematorium (Benhall Mill Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN2 5JJ), where stories, smiles and laughter are welcome – because that’s how David would have wanted it. We share with great sadness the passing of Bipin Patel, a much-loved husband of Pushpa, devoted father of three daughters and a valued member of the local community in Southborough and Royal Tunbridge Wells, who passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025.
In accordance with Bipin’s wishes, the funeral service was held privately on January 2, 2026. He also wished to express his heartfelt thanks to all his loyal customers and friends for their support over the years.

It is with the deepest sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we share the news that our wonderful, independent and active mum, Elizabethann ‘Betty’ Stapleton, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025.
Mum lived life to the full, and her strength and spirit were evident right up until the end. We are heartbroken, but we take comfort knowing she is now at rest.
